Apostle James Alston
Apostle James Alston is a spirit-filled man of God who has always had a deep love and appreciation for all that God has done in his life. Born in North Carolina and growing up as a field worker, Apostle understood at a young age the value of working hard. At the age of 16, Apostle left his North Carolina home and journeyed to Baltimore, Maryland where he graduated high school and went on to college for a few years. After determining college wasn’t the place for him, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served proudly for 22 years and retired as an E7. Apostle James Alston is the husband of Pastor Herlene Alston. Together they are the proud parents of James Jr., Tiffany, Kieyana, Takira, Tamia, and Aaron. They are the grandparents of Isaiah and London and the god-parents of James Levon. Apostle Alston began his spiritual journey at United Christian Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Abraham. While under her leadership, Apostle served as a deacon and the van driver. In 2007 after answering the clarion call to ministry, Apostle James Alston founded Holy Disciples Ministry now The Miracle Center Ministries, with his lovely wife supporting him along the way.
Apostle Alston is saved, sanctified, born again, delivered, renewed, refreshed, and a souled out man after God’s own heart. Apostle has been blessed with a healing and deliverance ministry and he often shares with his disciples, “How can I teach, heal, deliver, and guide you unless I have gone through, although my life has not been easy in all things I give God praise.” Through years of prayer, fasting, being taught and trained, his character gifts and talents were nurtured and cultivated. Through the awesome anointing that God has bestowed upon this man of God Holy Disciples has been raised to the Kingdom standards of God. God has blessed Apostle Alston with an awesome Prophetic gift that he does not take lightly and he guards it with my life.
Apostle is a spiritual father to many and he touches lives daily. God has given Apostle an awesome radio ministry that airs three days a week entitled “The Apostles’ Corner.” Apostle shares with the viewers what God has given unto him. Apostle is one who never shuns or looks down on a person because of their current state of being, but he provides them with a word of encouragement. Apostle stands on the word of God and the power of prayer. Apostle Alston is a vessel that God has begun to use to show the world that the Gospel is still the good news. Apostle Alston will not compromise with the devil and every chance that he gets, he rips his head off. Anointed and appointed for such a time as this, Apostle Alston is soon to take the world by storm preaching and teaching on the goodness of God.
