Apostle Herlene Alston
Apostle Herlene Alston is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia. She is the wife of Apostle James Alston and together they are the proud parents of James Jr., Tiffany, Kieyana, Takira, Tamia, and Aaron. They are the grandparents of Isaiah and London and the god-parents of James Levon. Apostle Herlene Alston began her spiritual journey at United Christian Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Abraham. While there Apostle Alston served in a variety of ministry organizations such as; the Hospitality Committee, Trustee, Deaconess, and as an Armor Bearer. In 2007 Apostle Alston joined her husband in ministry as the founders of Holy Disciples Ministry, now The Miracle Center Ministries where she served as the first lady. In 2009 Apostle Alston was ordained as a Pastor by Apostle S. Gaines. On February 18, 2017 under the apostolic ordinance of Apostle Ron Toliver, Apostle Herlene Alston was ordained as an Apostle of God. Together Apostle James and Apostle Alston work as a team in the Healing and Deliverance Ministry that God has blessed them with. Apostle Alston is a great woman of God and she shares the love that God has given her with everyone that she comes in contact with. She is a spiritual mother to many and she is often referred to as the “Mother of Many Nations.” Apostle Herlene Alston often speaks and shares how God has changed and transformed her life and for that reason she has become a great asset to women. Apostle Alston never looks down on anyone or shuns them because of their current state, but she always provides them with a word of encouragement. Apostle Alston is the founder of Homeless Outreach, which is a ministry that feeds the homeless and provides them with essentials for day to day living. Being an overcomer of various situations and hardships, Apostle Alston has a pure and helping heart for women and she serves as the chairperson of the Daughters of Zion Women’s Ministry. Apostle Alston helps to provide women with the reassurance, faith and hope they need to fulfill their destiny in Christ by ensuring that Christ is lifted up and glorified in women’s lives.
An awesome praise and worshipper, and one who loves to exalt the Lord,, she dedicates her life to God and stays in constant prayer and communication for God’s people. Apostle Herlene Alston is a woman after God’s own heart and every time she stands to proclaim the word of God lives are changed and touched in a mighty way. Although short in stature, Apostle Alston goes “toe to toe” with the enemy and she comes up victorious every time. Apostle Alston holds nothing back and she is indeed a Powerhouse. She has been anointed and appointed for such a time as this and she peaks on the goodness of God all the time with her favorite quote being, “God did it again.” Living her life according to the word of God, her favorite passage of scripture is Proverbs 3:5 & 6; Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and, He shall direct thy paths.
